A
little History
Campari's
Bistro started out as two distinct restaurants.
The first was Carmine's Pizzeria. Traditional Italian
Pizza made fresh from a small location nestled in
the heart of down town Chatham.
The
second was The Bittersweet Cafe. Traditional upscale
Italian cuisine located at the Dolphin Inn, also
on Main Street in Chatham.
In
1998, Carmine's and The Bittersweet Cafe were merged
into one restaurant called Campari's Bistro. Moving
to the much larger facility, the current owners still
offer their customers an intimate dinning experience.
Campari's
main dining room offers cozy booths overlooking
an oversized fireplace. The sounds
of classic and contemporary jazz fill the air.
While
a more casual atmosphere for families is setup
on the other side of the building with an open
fired pizza oven and tropical fish tank.
There
is even a great bar area to relax and enjoy one
of our many wines by the glass. Come see why Campari's
has become the local place for food and fun year
round.
